“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

At South Grove, we believe that the Bible calls us to be cheerful givers, and bring our giving as worship to God. Giving is done with the understanding of God's great provision for us, acknowledging that we live in total dependence on Him for all that we have.

Some may ask the question, 'Am I expected to give?' If you're just visiting South Grove Church, feel no obligation to give. You are our guest! It's the responsibility and joy of those who are committed to South Grove to give to support the mission of the church.

HOW TO GIVE

  • Pay with a check in person

    You can simply write a check and give when the offering is taken after worship during our Sunday services or by mailing it in to the South Grove office.

  • Online Bill-Pay

    Instead of bringing a check each Sunday, you can use your bank’s online bill-pay system which allows your bank to mail a check directly to South Grove. To set up bill-pay, you should select the “pay an individual” option or set up a new payee. Here is the information your bank might require to set up bill-pay:

    • Name (Payee Name): South Grove Church

    • Address (Payee Address): 1860 Barnett Shoals Rd, Ste 103-452, Athens, GA 30605

    If you need more help, contact your bank to help get set up.

  • Online with Tithe.ly

    The last option is giving through Tithe.ly. This is a convenient way to give, but there is a small fee associated with the transaction. To be sure all of your giving goes to God through the local church it is being given, Tithe.ly has added a small check-box which allows the giver to cover the convenience fee.
